1)How do you feel about your first album? Judita: I think it has a lot of charm but it's really not us anymore. They were the first 12 songs we wrote and we were just stoked to get them on a CD.
2)How about your second album?
Judita: We knew it would be awhile before we released another full length so we
wanted to put something out that was a little more mature and showed everyone
we could rock.
3)How have you grown spiritually between the first and second album?
Judita: Lyrically I've grown from the "girls vs. boys" themes to more
introspective themes about my relationship with friends and with God.
4)What are some of your main influences, both musically and otherwise?
Judita: I love good lyrics and cool female vocals. Some of my favorite musicians
are Sheryl Crow, Indigo Girls, Ricki Lee Jones, Mary Lou Lord. Some other
favs (though cheesy lyrically) are Joan Jett, Heart and the Go Go's
5)How did four of you come to together?
Judita: I met Natalie and Deanna through High School youth group. I met Ginger at
Cornerstone over 4 years ago.
6)Do you have any plans for future projects?
Judita: As many albums as possible.
7)What inspires your music writing?
Judita: Different events in my life. My struggles and joys.
8)Do you feel that there is a mission behind your music?
Judita: It's extremely satisfying to hear from young people who are comforted or
inspired by our songs. I'm glad we have a positive impact on our listeners,
especially when everything today is so negative.
9)Do you play more than one instrument?
Natalie: Bass & Guitar
Judita: Guitar and triangle
Deanna: yes. i play guitar and bass also.
Natalie: Mocha Almond Fudge
Judita: Rocky Road, chunkier the better
Deanna: mmm..mint chip
2)Do you have a pet, if so, what's it's name?
Judita: My neighbor's cat, Ginger, adopted us. We wrote Don't Wake the Cat after
her.
Natalie: Matilda, my cat, it ran away. L
Deanna: i had a kitten named jimmy, but i had to give it to my friend thom.
3)What do you do for fun?
Natalie: Sit on the couch with my boyfriend and watch cable TV
Judita: Sit on the couch with my husband and watch cable TV
Deanna: miniature golfing, bowling, go to movies
4)What is your favorite thing to shop for? (like clothes, groceries, shoes,
etc)
Judita & Natalie: Clothes!
Deanna: i think clothes, cd's and anything antique
5)What cartoon character most reminds you of yourself?
Natalie: Power Puff Girls
6)What was your most embarrassing moment?
Deanna: ..when i was in 3rd grade my little brother borrowed my jacket once..and for some reason he put his underwear in one of the pockets.. and i wore it the next day anmd found them while i was at skool...and everyone saw..and i was embarrased.
Judita: In high school I fell over while sitting in my desk while wearing a mini
skirt. The teacher didn't even help me up, he just stood there and gawked.
7)What is your favorite household chore?
Judita: Dusting. I love Swiffers, they make dust disappear. If you still live
with your parents you have no idea what I'm talking about.
Natalie: Watching talk shows
Deanna: breaking in the couch
8)If there was one thing you could change about yourself, what would it be?
Judita: Less anal retentive
Natalie: smaller feet
Deanna: i'd make myself a little more initiative to get things done.
9)Who would you most want to see in concert?
Judita: the Go Go's
Natalie: The Runaways
Deanna: New Kids On The Block (not a joke)
10)If you could visit any place in the world, where would you go?
Judita: Lithuania, I was born there and I love visiting my relatives
